Project Objective
- ADNOC intends to install Deluge Skids for the ongoing project of “Buhasa Firewater Network Replacement”.
- ADNOC awarded the project to M/s Progetti Europa & Global (PEG) & Equilibrium Engineering Consultancy. M/s Progetti Europa & Global (PEG) invited vendors and awarded the Contract for installation of 9 Deluge Skids to M/s TYCO Fire & Security UAE LLC.
- Structural and Piping stability analysis of the deluge skids were performed by Elixir Engineering for TYCO Fire & Security UAE LLC.
Scope of Work for Engineering Studies:
- To perform Piping Stress Analysis
- To perform Structural design calculation and GA drawing modification
- To perform Fusible Loop Calculation
Execution Methodology:
- P&ID and GA Drawing Review
- Review of P&ID: Examine the Process and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) for completeness and accuracy.
- Preliminary GA Drawing Review: Assess the General Arrangement (GA) drawing to verify layout and specifications.
- Fusible Loop Calculations and Instrumentation Requirements
- Fusible Loop Calculation: Calculate fusible loop parameters and confirm design accuracy.
- Orifice Sizing: Determine the appropriate orifice size based on deluge valve actuation needs.
